Our Pastor & First Lady

14Our Senior Pastor, Anthony Theodore Parker and our First Lady, Antoinette Laverne McSears-Parker, were married on June 24, 2000. It is during that year that they began to serve as the Pastoral Team for Rhema Fellowship Church. Together as a united force and through the power of God they lead Rhema toward its destiny.

Anthony answered the call for ministry at the age of 12 while faithfully serving under the leadership of his father, Superintendent Eddie Tyes Parker, Jr., at Parker Memorial Church of God in Christ. He is ordained and licensed through the Church of God in Christ, Inc.

Anthony’s academic credentials and honors include: being named Valedictorian for the class of 1990 from John F. Kennedy High School in Cleveland, Ohio; receiving his Bachelor of Arts Degree (Religious Studies) and Masters of Arts Degree (Religious Studies) from John Carroll University in University Heights, Ohio; and, earning his Doctorate of Jurisprudence from the Cleveland-Marshall College of Law in May 1997. He is employed as the Magistrate for the Village of North Randall, Ohio, Personal Bailiff to Judge Cassandra Collier-Williams, in the Cuyahoga County Court of Common Pleas, and President of the ATP Legal Group.

Antoinette is the Salutatorian for the class of 1994 from John F. Kennedy. She earned her Bachelors of Science Degree (Psychology) from John Carroll University. She is employed with the Cuyahoga County Department of Children ad Family Services as a Social Worker. Antoinette is a licensed Evangelist through the Church of God in Christ, Inc.

Antoinette is also a mentor to many youth and is a one-on-one motivational speaker who strives to encourage women to take charge of their spiritual and physical health. Through her determination and strength she and Pastor Parker were able to lose over 100 lbs each through diet, exercise, prayer and meditation. She is a worshipper, a psalmist, and serves as the leader of “We Care” the Youth Ministry of Rhema Fellowship Church.

As a result of their passion and love for youth ministry, Anthony and Antoinette established Youth for Holiness (YFH); a Christian mentoring program that encourages youth to commitment to a lifestyle of Holiness while excelling in academics and the Christian music ministry. They also established R.H.E.M.A. Y.E.S., Inc., a non-profit organization which seeks to enrich the lives of our community youth by addressing their intellectual, physical, economical and social needs.

Anthony and Antoinette’s love for each over and for people is contagious. They are committed to creating an atmosphere where people feel the presence of God and are able to receive the healing their hearts desire. Upon your arrival to Rhema you will feel the warmth and love that Anthony and Antoinette have through the members of our congregation. Treat yourself and come experience God’s love through Rhema.
